The linux client runs fine, but when I look into the packet, I see all Windows machines ending up with errors!!

I'm sorry I did not respond earlier. I am actively maintaining the project now that school has started again. Version 31 seems to have fixed the computational error because it uses half as much memory. The problem with old version was that each copy of the program running took up about 2 gigabytes of RAM, given the size of primes that are being checked. Now each copy takes up 1 gigabyte.

Daniel you haven't yet explained to the volunteer users who have supported your project why you abandoned the project. I understand you were on a holiday from school but the internet exists outside of school. All you had to do was post in the project News section that the project would be resumed at such and such a date. Then we wouldn't have been kept wondering if you'd fallen off the perch or not.

Try changing the View to Advanced View, and then change Computing Preferences, Disk and memory, under Memory, enter 30 or 40 percent for "When computer is in use, use at most" and "When computer is not in use, use at most".

I have a Laptop that has 8gb of Memory, it runs the Wu's okay but I'm only running 3 @ a time. all my other computers have a minimum of 16gb of memory & some have 24gb to 32gb of Memory, the computers are never in use but used only to only run BOINC Projects except for the 8gb laptop.

The Laptop also has Win 8 for a OS while the other computers have Win 7 Pro, maybe it's something the Win 8 Laptop has & that the Win 7 Pro Box's don't have ??? There should be no problems with Memory with the amount of Memory the Box's have.

The Box that none validate on has 32gb's of Memory, it shows only 10gb of Memory in use while 22gb or Memory is still free ...
